Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, hard working, and in need of supplies to help keep them organized, engaged, and be enthusiastic learners. We are a Title I school, and these kids could use all the support they can get.

Our school is one of the few schools in good standing in our district.

We work hard to provide our students with opportunities to improve in academic as well as social/emotional development. Despite our families not having a lot of extra resources, they are loving, supportive and amazing participants in our school community. With your help, we can continue to provide these amazing children with everything they need to succeed.

My Project

My students will use these various whiteboards to help them organize their work and show me if they understand the lesson we are working on before going off to work independently. The needs are different for math and literacy units, so having both kinds will be helpful. My students have a wide range of ability levels and this is a great way to make sure they are engaged, focused, and showing what they know! Having lines on the literacy boards and organizers on the math boards will help support students who struggle with organization. The kids love using markers, and this will motivate them to be active participants.
