Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to get a giant whiteboard that can be displayed in the media center when students first walk in. Something that they can't miss and that gives plenty of space for dozens of students in all grade levels to interact with. The idea is that the whiteboard will be open for students to write/draw on and will be filled with different prompts/questions/ideas every week.

The whiteboard can be used in so many fun and creative ways!

Students will be able to interact through silly to semi-serious questions (What's your favorite cereal? What is your favorite Halloween candy? What is your New Year's Resolution?) Students can also share favorite jokes and silly weekly drawings (ex: Moo Moo Week --- draw your best cow!) All of the whiteboard interactions will be meant to be light and fun. Just a goofy way to put a smile on students' faces!
