My Project

Help my students have sufficient whiteboard space to draw diagrams, tables, pictures, equations, and other representations to make sense of math and bring the abstract math concepts to life.

My students love getting down and dirty with math.

They love showing their thinking in multiple different ways to help make math clearer for themselves and their peers.

Please help me get more whiteboard spaces for my classroom to create a "thinking classroom." A classroom that students solve math on vertical non-permanent spaces. So, they can take risks, erase whenever they want, add to it, and draw pictures to make sense of it. In a class like this, math comes to life and students start seeing the beauty and complexity of math. They come to realize and believe how beautiful math can actually be!
