This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The students at my school are incredible, and I'm not just being biased. They face immense adversity outside of the school yet they come to school eager to learn and ready for the next challenge. Music has become an outlet for our students and they impress us by expressing their individualism and their confidence that comes from learning a new instrument.
Our students teach me something new every day through their enthusiasm, charisma and character.
I am incredibly fortunate to have these students in my life! I am looking forward to giving back to them as much as they bring to my life daily.
My Project
I currently have a whiteboard in my classroom that no longer erases and I am unable to use it as it's intended. Please consider helping us get a new whiteboard in our music classroom.
We need a place to write!
The new white board will help us to collaborate as a class, we use it in conjunction with a projector and is acts as a smart board and we use it to track goals and progress.
Thank you for considering a donation to this project so we can get a crucial piece of classroom equipment back up and running.
