Help give our Title I, low-income students math materials to continue building on their math skills at home. At our math night, families will learn how to build and support their students in various math strands using common materials (dice, card decks, fraction bars, etc) with your help and handed out that evening. In this project, I am asking for whiteboards for our families to take home to use.
Currently, many of our students are performing 2-3 grade levels below in mathematics.
Hosting these family nights allows us to integrate our bilingual services, after-school program, and school-wide team to support all of our families, many of whom are monolingual or bilingual.
