This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my first grade classroom of diverse learners we do many activities that are engaging, hands-on and fun. Having a classroom set of white boards with erasers and markers would help students engage in hands-on classroom learning such as spelling activities, phonics instruction, math problems, review lessons and much more. Adding a larger rolling white board to this project will allow me to model and explain lessons as we do them in a whole group setting. I can then add the large board to our class writing center for students to use as well since it has a lower size setting. My students will love these hands-on tools!
