Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a 4th grade teacher, I have a desire to see my students grow in knowledge and succeed in anything they set their minds on. My students have a mindset of endless opportunities. As their teacher I do my best to provide students with a growth mindset and an unwavering belief that they can succeed at whatever they choose.

My students come into my classroom knowing what they want to be when they grow up and the exact year they will walk across a stage holding their high school diploma.

Even if their adult aspirations change we encourage them to always think outside of the box, while also knowing that with education they will have endless opportunities. I want them to see that through education in our classroom they can see those endless opportunities take shape.

My Project

In my classroom, we use our desks as whiteboards every single day. Not only is it a way to keep my students on task, but it is fun! It's a great way for them to showcase their math knowledge instead of using paper and pencil.

Receiving this table would give my students a place to collaborate when solving math problems with their Expos.

I love that it would pair with our flexible seating in our classroom. This table would give my students a large workspace.

This table would be the first piece of functional math furniture to our classroom that the students would get so much use out of. We would be blessed to be able to have it in our classroom!
