This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their boundless curiosity and eagerness to explore the world around them. Each day, they come to class brimming with questions, and it’s this enthusiasm that fuels my passion for teaching. The resources I am requesting, specifically a Dyson vacuum for our STEM projects, will significantly enhance their learning experience. By using the vacuum, students will engage in hands-on experiments that demonstrate principles of physics, engineering, and environmental science. They will learn about airflow, suction, and even robotics as they explore how the vacuum operates.
My goal for this project is to foster an interactive learning environment where students can experiment and discover concepts through real-world applications.
The vacuum will serve as a tool for various projects, allowing them to test hypotheses, work collaboratively, and develop critical thinking skills. By incorporating innovative technology into our curriculum, I aim to inspire a new generation of problem solvers and thinkers.
What makes my students special is their diversity and resilience. They come from different backgrounds and face unique challenges, yet they support one another and create a vibrant classroom community. This project will not only enhance their understanding of scientific concepts but also empower them to approach problems creatively and collaboratively. By investing in resources that promote hands-on learning, I hope to nurture their innate curiosity and encourage them to pursue STEM fields in the future. Together, we can transform our classroom into a hub of innovation, exploration, and growth.
