Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are exceptional, extraordinary, excellent and I could go on and on. We are a self-contained unit and all students have an Individualized Education Plan. We started a business this year, and to witness their excitement and shine leaves me in awe.

I am an ordinary teacher, teaching extraordinary students.

They are students with various disabilities, however, they are not defined by their disabilities. They strive and never give up, they are my reminder of the beauty of life.

My Project

We have taken our business, Whippy Fresh, off and now my students need these materials to keep the business going! These material will assist in keeping the business and further enhance their employ-ability skills as they take on new projects.

These materials will allow my students to experience what it takes to maintain a growing business!

The laminating pouches are for the business cards and loyalty/rewards cards. The magnets are for the business cards they have designed to remind clients to order. The markers will help keep them organized by color coordinate job duties and assignments.

They have done an excellent job of brainstorming ideas to promote their business and with these materials they will succeed in keeping the business thriving. These promote working as a team and allowing them to express their creativity.
