Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will allow business to venture into new opportunities to explore real world job and vocational skills. We currently have a food delivery business and the students have decided to grow and expand their business to explore other ideas and become more inclusive. This is partly due because some of our students are not capable to fully participate in the delivery business due to their special needs and this new business idea will allow them to participate.

By donating to our project, students can now expand their talents to learn how to use the cricut machines, mats, tool kits and presses in order to design and print their own shirts and merchandise for the business.

They can design their clipboards, hats, masks and even mugs.

This will expose them to different job roles and duties in which we are able to pique their interests for future job/career opportunities and continue to build their social/emotion and independent skills.

By donating you will not only empower all students with disabilities to participate in our Whippy Fresh business, you will essentially build their level of confidence, sense of belonging, vocational, daily living and independent skills. Providing various business models allows options to continue to highlight their hidden talents and skills. You are helping create the chance for them to continue to blossom.
