My Students

The students at our school are the most loving and caring students. They are kind to each other and make every day a fun-filled educational experience. The students come to school ready to dive right into their day and participate in academics along with drama, dance, technology, and music. Their positive outlook on school and the compassion they show to others will forever be a positive force that will impact the community and the world.

The students at Waterside embrace diversity and are currently focusing on joyful experiences in the past and present.

Every classroom displays an atmosphere of acceptance and is culturally responsible. I am very proud to be a part of this wonderful and welcoming family.

My Project

Cooking is a skill that incorporates many subjects and supports diversity and culture in the classroom. The benefits of cooking with students increase language development and a child's vocabulary. It enhances fine motor skills, increases math ability, improves reading skills, introduces science and teaches life skills! Once the students learn how to start cooking in the classroom, their knowledge will transfer at home which is known to encourage family bonding. The aprons will show students' creativity as they will design them with their own art. It is both engaging and educational!
