This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is in desperate need of a mailbox organization system to help my students keep track of their materials and homework to travel between school and home. We were able to get a mailbox system prior but unfortunately it was damaged and is currently falling apart. Right now, the students are trying their best to organize their paperwork but the shelves fall down often which causes papers to be mixed up. The children, especially the special education students, are getting confused and frustrated.

A disorganized mailbox causes confused children!

This new mailbox organizer seems to be of more sturdy construction and will hopefully alleviate a lot of the problems my students are facing. A organized system is very important in my classroom as many of my special education students depend on routines and organization.
