Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this PreK Music Project will bring music and stories in to our classroom. The various CDs, classic children's songs books and small bookshelf will bring music into our PreK Dual Language Polish Classroom.

"Where words leaves off, music begins." For many young children, music can help them express a certain feeling that they can not yet put into words.

Music can help learn a language, move their bodies and relax their brains.

The song books with accompanying CDs will allow students to sing along to a favorite story. Our Polish speaking students will get to learn the English words to the songs and move to the music. The classical CDs will allow students to listen to relaxing music and promote calming techniques during their busy school days.

The soothing music on the quiet CDs will be played during rest time to help students settle down and rest. And finally, the small bookshelf will help us store our song books and CDs for easy accessibility to our students.
