Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

COVID-19 has impacted the children in so many different ways. Sharing is a big 'can not do' in the classroom so purchasing a lot of supplies to make sure each students has their own is imperative.

One of my students asked me, "teacher why she doesn't take off her hat?" I turned and saw a junior high student wearing a hijab.

I answer briefly because they were on their way to class. Is never too early or to late to introduce multicultural material to students especially when they are asking questions like this.
