This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

You would not believe how fast my students go through pencils. No matter how many pencils I buy and how often I replace them in our classroom pencil boxes, it seems like we always need more. The students really do use a lot of pencils throughout the year, and what I can supply just never seems to be enough. The same is true for glue sticks, which we need for our interactive notebook work.

Hardworking students need a constant supply of pencils and erasers.

We also need headphones so that the students working on their computers can do so without distracting their neighbors. We listen to a lot of audio books in our class, and we also have online science videos for review, so a class set of headphones provides my students with the ability to work independently.

My students are dedicated and can accomplish a great deal over the course of the year when our class has access to the supplies we need.
