I teach fifth grade in a Talented and Gifted school, which is in a high needs community.

My students are very bright, however it is unfortunate that the lack of materials may hinder them from learning to their full potential.

We need a class set of the book, "Where the Red Fern Grows." This book is at a reading level x, which can be used as a whole class read aloud. Having a copy of their own book will enable students to further their learning by being able to continue reading chapters at home, and focus on high level vocabulary from the book.

Your help will make it possible for my students to be excited in this class read aloud, and be motivated to read. If each child in my class is able to have a copy of this book, I know that it will encourage them to want to read even more!
