This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We all know that rain is necessary for our ecosystem to function properly however, rain can be very dangerous for our students. Students often come to school wet and cold which can get them sick.
In a 2005 study by other researchers, college students whose feet were soaked in cold water for 20 minutes a day were more likely to get sick than those not exposed to the cold.
Please help me keep my students safe, healthy, and dry by supplying them with dry socks and ponchos to help them on their journeys to and from school.
