Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-5 from low social and economic backgrounds. We have approximately 75% of our students on free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.

Our school opens the doors to a world of challenge and discovery.

The students spend their years here learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in advanced studies.

We provide our students with rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college.

My Project

My students have been absolutely delighted with using the 3D printer at the school. The materials for the printer included in this project are for their continued use.

As I also provide leadership opportunities for the 5th grade Leadership students at our school, I am adding a Cricut Maker to this project so that these students will be able to create more eye-catching advertisements for different events that happen at our school.

This machine will help them create posters for PTA meetings, student performances, book fairs, etc. They want to create shirts and stickers that others can earn through our school's PBIS program. They want to create things that will encourage their peers to want to join them as leaders of the school.
