Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students come to school without dental care, clean clothes, menstruation products, etc., their focus is elsewhere. Both their physical health and mental health are heavily impacted. Their mind is elsewhere - distracted, overwhelmed, embarrassed.

Please support my students so that their basic needs are satisfied; by providing these items, my students can feel safe and cared for, direct their attention to academics, relationships, and passions, and have one less thing to worry about.

We hope to support their overall physical and emotional well-being by having these items accessible. We want students to do more than survive; we want them to thrive in school!
