Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is in need of tempera paints, markers, and paintbrushes to complete future projects and prepare for next school year. We are currently low on tempera paint. We have some paintbrushes, but are in need of fresh ones in different shapes and sizes.

My students love to paint.

I would like to provide more opportunities for painting projects in the future. I am planning on creating self portrait painting projects for my middle schoolers, landscape paintings for my elementary students, and printmaking projects for my younger elementary kids.

We are running low on markers due to low supply in the beginning of the year. My students love to use markers for coloring projects and warm up drawings, so a refill is much needed. These supplies would contribute to several different painting and drawing projects, including realistic and abstract art.
