Developing skills such as presenting and public speaking are essential to prepare for high school and life beyond. My students will benefit tremendously from a new lectern/ podium to make our history class come to life when they present and debate.
A crucial part of our class experience is to develop communication skills by engaging in public speaking and debates in class.
They will use this lectern when they present their research/ projects to the class, engage in debates, and participate in many other experiential exercises.
As a fairly new teacher, I am still in the process of furnishing my classroom and your help in this process will greatly benefit my students.
