Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are 6 and 7 year old first graders. They are hungry for knowledge. They have worked so hard this past month. They have just published their first book. They will be authors before going to 2nd grade! The materials for this project will be used to give my students a Tea Party as a celebration for becoming authors.

Let me say that one more time, "My students will be authors before going to 2nd grade!" By donating to this project, I will be able to celebrate my students' accomplishments in becoming authors.

They are so proud of themselves and I couldn't be prouder of them. They worked so hard on this book. Each page will give the reader an insider's view of each author. One page has a beautiful self-portrait and the next has a short auto-biography.
