I have the opportunity of teaching a group of students with severe cognitive and physical disabilities. They come to school every day, despite their disabilities, to learn functional skills that will help them grow and become assets to our community. Just within the elementary community of our school they have an influences daily on our other students.
My students are the prime example that nothing can stand in your way of coming to school to grow and meet daily goals.
My students illustrate pure kindness, friendship, love, and dedication.
My Project
With having hands-on examples of science, my students will have a better understanding of how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, what magnets do, or what the weather does in different seasons. My students need to learn to answer the questions to life's why! With the different kits, my students will be able to touch, see, and make mental growth in figuring out what science is. Also with these kits, it provides different lessons for the students to all be working on science but can be cleaned and used again.
