My Project

I've had the wonderful experience of obtaining Time for Kids subscriptions and various Social Emotional books in previous years for my students. I'd love to continue this tradition of teaching my students how to retell what they've learned in terms of Retelling from Nonfiction Sources, as well as retelling from Social Emotional books.

The Time for Kids Magazines are a fantastic way to help my students make the connections between teaching nonfiction text features and applying them to real situations and current news articles and materials.

We talk about what the articles have taught us and are able to convey that information to our classmates, friends and families!

The Little Spot Books are a wonderful way to help students learn about various specific emotions, and provide clear and relatable examples that children can easily grasp. The illustrations are vibrant and engaging!

I am hoping to receive these wonderful resources for my students, so that I can continue to work on their social emotional needs as well as their retelling skills!
