My Project

My students love to help around the classroom in any way they can. We have a safe, loving and fun environment within our classroom. Each week they are assigned jobs to help keep the room organized and clean. With it being flu season we could use the lysol wipes to wipe their desk daily, the lysol can to get the door knobs and the inside recess toys. In first grade we carry a lot of extra germs! They would love to have a new pencil sharpener for the end of the day job, and a vacuum cleaner to help clean up those little messes throughout the day.

The other items I've asked for are seat pockets.

These are much needed for the students to keep their word mapping boards and folders in for quick access, and the privacy dividers will be used for test taking. I've also asked for HP printer ink that I can use to print anchor charts for in the room. We use the posters around the room for resources to help enforce what they are learning. I've also asked for baskets to help in our classroom library to hold all the wonderful books we have.

Last I've asked for a cart on wheels and a wagon. We have a wonderful PTO that bought each grade level outside toys. The cart and wagon would make it easier for the students to transport the toys from our hallway to the play.
