Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I remember fondly, as a little kid, having an old cookie tin filled with crayons. I would bring it with me wherever I went. There was something ever so special about having my own set.

Crayons may seem like a trivial tool, but the benefits they provide for my students are invaluable.

They not only aid in their academic development, but also help them build essential life skills such as creativity, self-expression, and emotional regulation. As a teacher, I believe it is crucial to provide my students with all the tools they need to succeed, and the ownership they take when they receive this carrying case of crayons is priceless!

Bookmaking is serious business in our preschool classroom, and I believe these special crayons will take it to the next level.
