Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have transformed the front entrance of our school from a dirt hill to a beautiful rose garden. There's still a patch of dirt where some of our flowers died in the winter freeze. I would like to finish the rose garden with some flowering and fragrant jasmine.

I truly believe that kids learn better in a beautfiul environment.

In addition to improving the space, I also think we've created a school that our kids can take pride in. No longer littered, the rose garden is an attractive feature of our school.
