I recently switched jobs! Transitioning from learning support to autistic/life skills support has been so much fun! I have learned so much about my students in such a short period of time. My students are smart. They're funny. They're capable. They have made my life instantaneously better in the span of a week.
My students like to learn, but they also like to move.
They learn best in short bursts. They love to dance and make others smile. They truly light up the school and make our little corner of Pennsylvania a better place to be.
My Project
I would like to introduce my students to Fluency and Fitness, and an amazing program that incorporates fitness into building fluency. My students would mostly be working on math fluency facts. The program is simple. I see antsy kiddos, I put on Fluency and Fitness. No one has to stop their learning, and they get to move! Everyone wins.
Any donation will help in reaching my goals.
I hope that I can start implementing Fluency and Fitness this school year. In order to do so, your support is vital. I can't wait to get my students up out of their chairs, moving, grooving, and learning!
