My Project

I work with super second graders who are full of energy! I want to encourage and reward the positive behaviors I see in my students.

These stuffed animal behavior buddies will each be associated with specific behaviors I want to encourage in my students.

When I see a student meeting those expectations, they will be able to keep that particular animal buddy at their desk for the day.

My students will love helping me create the rules and expectations for our stuffed animal buddies. I want my students to become more self-aware and realize that they can positively or negatively impact their own learning outcomes. I believe these behavior buddies will be another tool I can use to create a learning environment that is productive, safe, and fun for everyone!
