Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I have the opportunity to teach a wonderful group of gifted and talented third graders in a Title I school.

Organization is a key component in any well oiled classroom and helps children to develop independence. One of our key initiatives is organizing for effort. This allows children to develop organizational skills that will allow them to grow as independent learners throughout their educational careers. My students need a literature (mail) organizer, four desktop organizers and packs of post-it pads.

A giant step toward organizing for effort is being able to know where your supplies are when you need them. A literature organizer will serve as a nerve center for the classroom, allowing notices and work to be submitted and sent home. Desktop caddies will allow the children to have their materials at hands reach and be able to reach for a post-it note or pencil to jot down a thought without searching through their desks for a pencil.

Your donation will allow the next generation to learn the organizational skills they need to develop as future leaders of this world.
