Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a 7th grade math teacher who runs after school activities for our 1,100 students. Our school has over 70% on the free lunch program.

My students want to play flag football. We have the staff, the interest, the park, but lack the equipment. We'd like a chance to show that we are ready for some football!

All we are looking for is equipment so we can have a football league. I know that if we can have this league, it would give my students something positive to do after school and get them some much needed exercise. We need two footballs, 24 flag belts, 12 cones and 24 mesh jerseys and a carrying bag.

If you are able to donate, it would help my students in many ways. It will give them a chance to make new friends. It will give them a chance to succeed at something new. And perhaps, most importantly, a safe activity to do right after school.
