Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have eighteen four year olds who come in every day with the biggest smiles on their faces. They bring such love and light, and positive energy into the room when they do. And I am grateful for the privilege of being their teacher.

Growing plants boosts moods, productivity, concentration, and creativity.

Growing plants in the classroom will provide therapy, and reduce stress and fatigue in my students. This is very important, especially at this moment, with my student demographic. They are students in a Title 1 school, and nearly half of them are currently in temporary housing.

Help me to show my students the magic within as they grow their own plannts.
