This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Most of my students receive free lunch because their parent or guardian has an income below the state poverty level. Students have difficulties with purchasing materials needed for class. I continue to share wipes, disinfectants, and Kleenex with students.
My classes will use supplies to disinfect their area.
Students in my classes will be reassured that they are as safe as possible. Students whom I don't teach know that they can ask me for whatever they need. If I have it, then they can get it. Therefore, my classes will use supplies to disinfect their area in each class to feel safer. My Classroom is a safe space on campus for all.
