My Students

Kindergarten is a very special time for all students! For many of my students it is their first time in school, since they were unable to attend pre-school due to the pandemic. My students come from many different backgrounds, and shown nothing but perseverance and dedication to learning!

My Project

In my classroom we use classroom currency to enforce great behavior! What started as just classroom management has grown into something that has aided community building and math fluency. With our classroom currency students are able to practice their one to one counting, adding and subtracting, and the value of real currency.

My students work very hard to earn their classroom money by completing their classwork, meeting classroom and school wide expectations, and showing each other kindness and respect.

I would love to reward them properly with with these sensory and fidget items that they not only enjoy but also aid them with their learning.
