My Project

In March 2023, I received a huge donation for last year's class by my community. This year I am back with a new class full of students who are ready to learn! As a teacher of students with disabilities (specifically autism), motivation is so important for my students to learn. My students thrive when a combination of both toys and edible reinforcements is used throughout the school day after each teaching session has been completed.

With your help, the students can work to earn Skittles, Goldfish, chips, lollipops and fruit snacks as they learn to speak in full sentences, make patterns, read, write with correct grip and form, and follow essential daily routines!

Please know how important it is to have your support as my students attend an incredibly low-funded, inner-city Bronx school where all toys and snacks come directly from teacher's pockets and you. I love my students and along the past two years, I have built a great toy area, but snacks run out so fast and I want to continue to feed young minds and bellies!
