My Students

Our students are a terrific group of International Baccalaureate learners who have a tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm.

I often joke that from the moment they enter our learning environment, they are like the Energizer bunny...they keep going, and going, and going!

I admire their energy and their love of reading, writing, digging into history and learning how to become independent thinkers who will someday make a positive impact on the world! Many are very serious inquirers who enjoy searching for answers to their questions and sharing their new knowledge with their peers. As a school community, we enjoy collaborative learning and we work hard to support one another as we grow into life-long learners and thinkers!

My Project

Remember the slogan, "Can you hear me now?" If you were to ask my students that question while they were on their laptops trying to listen to audio instructions, they would give you a sad face. We are required to complete several district and state tests throughout the year that have audio components, but we do not have quality headphones. We also participate in many online support programs on a daily basis that also have audio features, but again, my students don't have quality headphones. Being able to hear clearly and without background distractions would be a game changer for my students.
