My Students

Have you ever sat down to work on something and there was so much "other stuff" going on that you couldn't concentrate? Wouldn't it be nice to be able to just slip on a pair of earmuffs and tune out the distractions of the "other stuff"?

Our school is located in a small, rural community.

Many of the students come from low income families of very diverse backgrounds. Many of them have also had limited cultural experiences due to the rural setting. The students are also kind, caring kids who look out for and take care of each other much like a family.

My Project

The earmuffs will be used by students who have trouble staying focused. At the end of the day, we have study hall. There are usually 20-30 kids in the classroom, all working on different assignments. The noise level, although not a problem for some kids, can be very distracting to others. Students that are having trouble focusing due to the noise level will use the earmuffs to block out the noise. This will allow those students to fully focus on their assignments and increase their success in the classroom!

These earmuffs will allow students to block out distracting noises in the classroom and focus on assignments.

It will allow them to complete assignments in a more timely manner and to the best of their ability. Donating to this project will allow students to be more successful in the classroom!
