My Project

Our school cares about the whole student and this includes their physical and mental well-being. With the start of the new school year, we are hoping to establish a monthly time called Wellness Wednesday, giving students the opportunity to spend 30 minutes with their friends, participating in activities that they enjoy and learning about some new activities.

We are requesting oversized games and activities to use in the gym as one option for students to have on Wellness Wednesdays.

Other activities may include playground time, completing an art project, utilizing our outdoor track and kickball field or reading and socializing with a friend.

Our goal with Wellness Wednesday is to introduce and encourage habits that contribute to overall health and well-being for our students. We have amazing students and want to make sure we are setting them up for a lifetime of health.
