My Project

My school is fortunate enough to have a Wellness Room for students to use when de-escalating from the classroom. However, the previous person in charge of the wellness room moved to another school, and with her went most of what was available to our students including a play sand table and The Original Buddha Board Art Set:

Students need coping tools to assist in regulating their emotions!

We need to replace and add items so our students can continue to effectively use this space. This room has been invaluable over the last few years for our students and teachers. It is amazing how quickly kids can get back to learning with just a few minutes of quiet time and something to help ground themselves.
