My Project

Healthy people and healthy planet! Our school community is working hard to do our part to protect our environment both in and out of the school building. The choices we make when it comes to daily essentials can be crucial for our health and the environment. Eco-friendly water containers are a great way to help out with both well-being and sustainability.

I would love to help students promote awareness about these health and wellness initiatives in our school community and beyond by acting as influencers.

This project will help promote wellness by providing inexpensive reusable bags and water bottles for a large number of low income students. The students will share with their home community to help encourage the use of safe, reusable containers and bags. Personalizing these items with positive words will help encourage students to use them and other students and adults to want to do the same.

We have a number of bottle refilling stations, but very few students carry refillable bottles and some students refill store bought bottles that are not BPA safe. From improving overall personal performance to reducing plastic waste, using sustainable water bottles along with maintaining healthy hydration habits can make a big difference. Reusable bags and eco-friendly water bottles aren't just a trend, they are an important part of our everyday lives. Help us spread the word
