This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are a new Wellness Center on Campus and we would like to provide students with items to help support their mental health and wellness. This is a calming space where we will provide Social and Emotional learning as well as a provide a safe space for students to unwind. Our goals are to provide students with the tools they need to be successful in addressing their emotional needs.

We have asked students what they want that will ensure they feel safe and supported in their space.

We provide push in services to classrooms to teach emotional learning as well as how to handle life situations that may arise.
