My Project

Many of the students in my school have limited resources. We have decided to work on a project that will provide them with the tools they need to guide them in life in regards to hygiene, self-care, and self-esteem.

It has been proven that when you incorporate proper hygiene into your daily routine you feel better about yourself.

Teaching the students skills such as skincare and haircare will enhance their knowledge in cleanliness while also boosting their self-esteem.

Allowing the students to create pieces of jewelry will provide them with a sense of pride and contributes towards their mental health. They will walk away from this class with a keepsake and a sense of accomplishment. This project will be apart of our SEL initiative that many of our students are missing for various reasons.
