My Students

I am privileged to teach 45 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.

Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

My goal is to provide many lessons that promote fitness, health, and wellness. Someone would wear the watch daily to always challenge and make the wellness activities competitive and fun. Throughout the week, we will chart steps and physical activity. I would like for the wellness and health activity to be a motivator for all. We hope we will encourage others to participate in our fitness challenge and can compare their weekly charts with our class. To involve families we will extend this to a home connection. We will share our fitness challenge and encourage families to participate.
