My Project

In today's fast-paced world, promoting wellness is essential for both individual health and community well-being. Our student-led service activity aims to utilize technology to foster awareness and engagement around wellness topics. By integrating iPads into our project, we will enhance our ability to educate, inspire, and mobilize our community.

Our service activity will involve students leading workshops focused on various aspects of wellness, including mental health, nutrition, physical fitness, and mindfulness.

Each workshop will feature curated video clips that resonate with the topic at hand. For instance, students may watch clips from TED Talks that discuss the importance of mental health, or they may view cooking demonstrations that highlight nutritious meal preparation.

Students will facilitate discussions around these clips, encouraging participants to share their thoughts and experiences. This collaborative approach not only fosters a deeper understanding of wellness topics but also empowers students to take ownership of their learning and leadership roles. The iPads will serve as essential tools in this initiative. With access to educational apps and resources, students can conduct research, create presentations, and develop engaging materials for the workshops. For example, they can use video editing software to create their own wellness content, drawing inspiration from the clips they’ve watched. Additionally, the iPads will allow students to gather feedback through surveys and polls, helping them refine their workshops based on community needs.

By integrating iPads into our student-led wellness initiative, we empower students not only to lead meaningful discussions but also to enact real change in their community. The materials and technology we are requesting will enable them to deepen their understanding, enhance their communication skills, and create lasting impacts. Together, we will promote a culture of wellness that benefits all members of our community.
