Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Due to Covid 19 our school district has been closed and we have been doing distance learning for the remaining weeks of school. Some of my students have been participating but I have a group of students that are struggling with this new learning.

My Project

From their birth during 9/11 to now trying to finish their school years during a pandemic, the seniors of 2020 have gone through a lot in their 18 years. Now their college years also are full of uncertainty. Will they be able to physically attend college or will they have to attend virtually? In the event that they would have to attend college classes online, I would like to provide 1 stellar student with Microsoft Surface Pros to help them with their college classes.

College is a challenging experience and I would like to help the seniors of 2020 through this transition.

COVID 19 has put a damper on the end of their high school years but I want the beginning of their college years to be promising and bright.
