I am a Science Cluster Teacher in an elementary school in the South Bronx, NY..

Our school is a Title I school, due to poverty, which affects the community. This public school has a large population of special needs, and English Language Learners, in which visuals are greatly needed to support the children in their learning.

The children are beautiful, elementary-aged children, who are eager to learn! Please help me obtain these supplies, to enable me to provide these children with the warm welcome back to school they deserve!!!

My Project

I am asking for a variety of things, from basic, much needed, (and used most often), supplies like the pencils, and crayons, to the things that add educational decor, like the world map, and science posters! With schools being closed-then opened, and then closed off and on several times, any supplies we had, are not guaranteed to be there when we return!

The items I am requesting for my students are to help me create a clean, exciting space for them to come back to!

Teachers use a variety of informational posters and props, (like the world globe, and periodic table poster), that children use as references. These items also encourage curiosity and critical thinking!
