My Project

Kindergarteners come into school often not knowing what to expect. Where I work, not many English Learners have attended a preschool or daycare prior to starting school. The first day of school can often be scary for these students facing an unfamiliar building with unfamiliar expectations. Books can help ease fears about school.

Giving each student a copy of All Are Welcome will let the students know that they are in a school that is excited to have them.

The diversity of the book will show our English Learners that they are welcome in our school.
