Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school counselor, I know the transition to high school can often be overwhelming for students as they work to navigate new peer relationships and the rigors of high school academics. Comfortable beanbag seating, music for group counseling sessions are needed to help shift my counseling office into a warm and welcoming space. A safe space that is designed to help ease a student's anxiety. An IPAD for applying to college and researching schools. The goal of this project is to work towards creating a safe and comfortable space for students. Students, of course love to have snacks!
