This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello, I'm a fifth grade teacher that is currently teaching upper elementary students via remotely. As my students and I resume to hybrid teaching or in-the class instruction, I would like to provide a safe and inviting classroom to my students. My students are truly an incredible group, this is their last year in elementary school and your donation will help them continue learning by helping receive the resources we need! Every student comes to my class ready for a new beginning filled with challenges yet eager to take chances and become the best they can be! My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of curiosity!

I would like to welcome my students back as we reopen schools by decorating and providing a welcoming classroom.

I want my students to feel safe and comfortable when they enter their classroom.

My Project

My classroom has been a second home for my students . I would like to provide the resources listed to lift and bring back the enthusiasm and peacefulness to my students when they return back to a classroom. School has been closed for one school year and when students return, I want them to feel safe in our new and updated class. The donations will go directly to my classroom setting. I will use the class decoration set to provide a nice and welcoming classroom. I will reorganize and update our classroom by utilizing new affirmation poster board, boarders and classroom jobs organizer. Students will be able to feel at home as I will provide a clean and safe classroom as they return. This will enhance our classroom. Research has mentioned that students learn from a classroom that is bright and welcoming. My goal is for students to enjoy being in their classroom or their second home. The current pandemic has been a struggle for many of us and I want my students to enter our classroom and feel at home.
