My Project

The materials requested will help us to build a community house system with our students in grades K-5th. The goal of the project is to enhance an inclusive learning environment for all of our students. The great thing about our school is the cultural diversity of our families.

We will divide our school into 5 different colored houses.

Every student will be assigned a house that will meet monthly for character and community building activities. Since COVID, we have seen a huge increase in the need for social and character-building skills. Building relationships with our students is our number one priority! We recognize that when students feel safe and supported, they will be more successful academically.

We have observed other schools who have adopted the house system and have experienced the benefits firsthand. We are so excited for the new school year!
